Start With a Shot

To build your healthy cocktail, first measure out a 1.5-ounce shot of liquor. This serving will cost you 100 calories. Without measuring first, you’ll not only rack up calories but also go over the moderation limit of one drink for women, two for men, per day.
Guideline: 1 drink = 1.5 ounce distilled liquor = 5 ounces of wine = 12 ounces of beer
