Turns out, getting out in Mother Nature is not only pleasing for the eyeballs, but it also has huge health benefits! (And when you’re out in nature and being active? Well, that’s just a double feel-good whammy!)

  1. Beautiful picture! Fall is such a great time to get outside. I love functional outdoor activities like walking your dog, biking to work or playing sports. Glad to hear more research is being done on this. Hopefully, more people will start getting a good dose of nature in their lives.

I have really enjoyed the fall season this year. I think the neon fall colors on the trees have managed to stick around longer this year than in the past years. It is simply beautiful and in some places, breathtaking. It really encourages me to want to get out and go on a hike or biking trail, or anything outdoors related.

That’s your running trail? Looks amazing! I can totally see why you’d recommend stepping outside for a work-out.

  5. Also I have this theory that being out in the cold burns more calories. Am sure there must be scientific proof of this somewhere…..

  6. Love this! Thank you for sharing!
