Help Your Manly Man Live Longer

We do so much in the Fit Bottomed World to encourage women and moms to be healthy. But we never forget about the dudes. I’m always telling my husband that I don’t want to live to be 100 without him, so I’m always on his case to eat his veggies and get to the gym. Luckily, him being my partner in my Tough Mudder went a long way in getting him to the gym — and keeping him on track once he started seeing kick-ass results. When I got this men’s health infographic from Nursing@Georgetown, Georgetown University’s online master’s in nursing program, I knew we had to share. It’s chock full of great information about the men-folk, and it’s a good reminder to men to maintain healthy habits. It even tells them how often to do certain health checks — even if you’ll have to be the one to make the appointment for him.

So read on, and then pass this along to your man to let him know you — and the FBGs! — care.

As a proud husband of a contributor to this site, I read the columns weekly, but am very excited to see things from a “dude’s” point of view. I think it is very important to take time to see things from a new perspective and I always learn new things or get exciting ideas from FBM and FBG articles

it has often helped me when alone with my son 🙂
