Today’s fit blogger we love features one of our favorite fit mamas, Kristin Stehly of STUFT Mama. We link to her blog all the time because she’s living a twin adventure and staying super fit while she does it.

Fit Mom We Love: Kristin Stehly

How did you come up with the name of your blog? STUFT Fitness is the name of my fitness business. It stands for “Stehly Ultimate Family Training.” I just decided to stick with the STUFT name, but it really worked out well. STUFT Mama was just meant to be I guess.

If you could have a mom superpower, what would it be? To be two places at once and to never lose my temper.

What is one thing you loved about being pregnant? Hated? I loved everything about being pregnant. Weird, but true.

What was your biggest surprise about motherhood? How you lose control of your schedule. And how your life focus changes. It’s all about the kiddos and giving them the best life they can have.

If you magically had an hour added to your day free of obligations, what would you do with it? Oh my, I would try my best to spend it quietly and do something that would make me a better person. More time to spend catching up with friends and family. Things that I always seem to run out of time to do.

Did pregnancy/childbirth change your view of your body and what it’s capable of? How so? Yes. It showed me how amazing my body can be. It helped me focus on health instead of appearance. I want to treat my body the best that I can so it can keep up with my kiddos and so I can be a good example for them.

What are a few of your fitness confessions? I like to sleep in my sports bra as a little extra motivation to get on the treadmill first thing in the morning. I’ve also been known to run on the treadmill in Spanx. And my treadmill TV show of choice at the moment is Gossip Girl. Oh, AND I’I’ve been known to wear a toddler pull-up to the start of a marathon (or two) just in case of emergencies. You never know.

See? You just gotta love that kind of honesty. And we might just have to borrow your super power idea, Kristin! Mamas, what would your mama superpower be? —Erin

Oooooo if I could have super mama power….Hmm. I would have to say patience. Can I have patience please?! It is so hard to be patient when it takes 20 minutes for one of my son’s to put a sock on (let alone the pants, shirt, and underwear). Also, 4 arms would be great. Then I could cook, vacuum, do the dishes and and do some work on my computer all at the same time. Okay, so maybe honestly, I could do at least two of those things at the same time, if I had 4 arms!
