What an Ironman-in-Training Eats for a Day

Ever wondered what someone training for an Ironman might eat in a day? I have. Gosh, even after I trained for and ran a marathon (which, you know, they run as the last leg of their race), my food intake went way up. And the hunger. Oh, my goodness, the primal hunger. It was insane. So when our very own Susan Lacke shared what she ate pre-workout, during workout (spoiler: 100 miles on the bike, so she needed lots of energy) and post-workout, I found it so darn interesting.

Susan gives a thumbs up to her Ironman eats.

From oats to fruits to veggies to bars and everything in between (plus some very well-deserved cupcakes), check out Susan’s full day of Ironman-in-training eats here! Anything that surprised you? —Jenn
