Your Fit-Inspiration of the Week: LaKeisha on Giveit100

Every now and then I come across someone or something truly inspiring online. Someone who at once makes you laugh and cry, and who makes you just want to cut the crap and excuses and just go do the dang thing. Today, that someone is LaKeisha:

LaKeisha’s story is featured on the site Giveit100, which encourages people to try something for 100 days. The improvements are amazing, but LaKeisha’s transformation is really inspiring for anyone who is on a journey to weight-loss, and anyone struggling to find motivation to get to the gym. She is adorable and vulnerable and shares her triumphs and setbacks. Here, just watch for yourself and be inspired:

Isn’t seeing all of those days stack up over time so cool to see? And getting out of the 300 club? So cool! LaKeisha is in awesome company over there; one of my other favorites is Jason, who has never been able to touch his toes. (My hubby and the flexibility challenged can certainly relate!) I found myself holding my breath to see if he’d finally be able to do it. You’ll have to check it out for yourself to see his triumph.

It makes me wonder: what could I do if I tried it every day for 100 days? What would you work on? —Erin
