Monster Juice Recipe for Your Little Monsters

I don’t have a juicer — I’m more of a smoothie gal — but juicing is all the rage these days. And if you’re hard-pressed to get your kids to branch out into green veggies or move beyond the standard banana, homemade juice can be a fun option. Plus, you get to decide exactly what goes into the juice when you make it yourself and get to avoid any icky ingredients and added sugar that many store-bought juices have lurking in them.

So when Juicepresso, sent me this really fun recipe for Monster Juice, I knew I had to share it with you guys. It’s a bright and fruity way to sneak in some spinach and cucumbers! And what kid won’t want to drink “monster juice”?

Monster Juice Recipe

Ingredients
2 cups grapes
1 orange
Handful blueberries
Half cucumber
Handful kale/spinach

Directions
1. Chop up all of the ingredients (sources tell me you get more nutrients out of it like that), and throw them in your juicer!

Now that really couldn’t be much easier, right? Do you think your kids would sip on a green drink? —Erin
