Scratch and Grain Baking Co. Cookie Kits Review: Gluten-Free Snickerdoodles
As soon as I found out that there were some gluten-free cookie kits available, it was game on. I love baking, but gluten-free baking can mean lots and lots of measuring all kinds of different flours, so it’s nice to be able to just have something that’s still all-natural but still super convenient and quick to whip up. And, like Karen said, the way these are packaged is pretty much idiot-proof (but still makes you feel like you’re really baking, which is awesome!).
I honestly thought that the snickerdoodles would be pretty flat and maybe not overly cinnamony and buttery — like any good snickerdoodle should be — but I was wrong. Totally wrong. As long as you don’t overcook these (the directions are spot on, by the way!), they are everything you want a snickerdoodle to be. Soft on the inside with a little bit of crust on the outside, these were good. Like “don’t try to eat them all in one sitting” good. —Jenn
