*SPOILER ALERT!* We’re recapping tonight’s Biggest Loser episode (get all the recaps here!), so avert your eyes if you don’t want to know what happened.

Even The Biggest Loser lost some weight this week as the show was whittled down to an hour. But while there was no challenge, one of the contestants was challenged to step up for his entire team.

Chandra arrived at Comeback Canyon, and found out she’d be facing off against Emmy in Bob’s weigh-in. Will someone finally win that weigh-in two weeks in a row?

Back at the ranch, Jordan thought he saw a “Ghostbusters machine” in the gym. But in reality it was a ball-spinning lottery machine, and whoever’s name gets chosen gets to go home for the entire week with their trainer. When they get back, their weigh-in will count for their entire team, so no visiting the hometown burger joint, okay?

A lot of the contestants really didn’t want to go home because they were afraid of the temptations (the food, not the singing group). It came down to the two Woodys, and the last Woody standing was Damien Woody, who left for New Jersey with Jessie.

The Super Bowl champ arrived home to a big family reunion, but he let his loved ones know that “as much fun as it is to see everybody, this is a business trip, and we’re gonna get it done.” They headed to a football field and hit the drills, big time.

While at home, Damien told Jessie that the sudden death of his mother two years ago left him “dying inside” and unable to deal with her death, which brought him to the nadir of his weight issues.

Damien’s last chance workout was in the heart of New York City. Jessie brought him there so he could connect with the energy of the city and in turn energize his workout (and give the show a great backdrop).

Meanwhile, back at the ranch (yes, we love that!), his blue team was doing a good job coaching themselves. Dolvett was really happy with his red team and can see their determination become laser focused. But Jen and her white team feel invincible — they’re still six members strong.

Comeback Canyon Weigh-In

Emmy lost 4 pounds and Chandra had to lose 6 pounds to beat her. She did, losing 7 pounds this week. And the “one and done” weigh-in continues at Comeback Canyon!

Ranch Weigh-In

Damien and Jessie returned to see how Damien will do for the blue team. How’d they do?

Red Team

  • Blake: 8
  • Jordan: 10
  • Scott: 7
  • Mike: 10
  • Rob: 12

White Team

  • Rondalee: 5
  • Matt: 10
  • Woody: 11
  • Toma: 11
  • Sonya: 9
  • JJ: 16

Blue Team (only Damien’s percentage counts)

  • Jackie: 4
  • Gina: 4
  • Lori: 8
  • Damien: 14

Damien crushed it at home, and that sent the red team to the elimination room. Blake had the highest percentage so she was safe. And, cue the waterworks — Mike told his teammates to vote to send him home but Rob just couldn’t do it, and said so tearfully. Mike used to call Rob “Son,” which meant a lot to Rob since Mike’s son was killed in 2008 during Special Forces training. But everyone else voted to send Mike off, and he was then off to Comeback Canyon.

Quote of the Week

From Mike: “Ten is good for this week. Real gains were in my health. I am completely off all diabetes medications.”

Emmy’s Update

Emmy is down 50 pounds and very close to her weight in high school. She’s taking her extended family on mud runs, and, in fact, she has signed up for a 5K every month!

What to Expect Next Week

Climb every mountain, ford every stream and zipline every scary canyon, Woody!

Did you get all teary-eyed at the elimination? (We did … sniff, sniff …) — Gail
