April Fit Bottomed Challenge Week 4: You’re Much Stronger Than You Think You Are

Feeling like Superwoman yet? We hope so because …

It’s true! And not just because Superman said it. It’s true because most of the time the only person holding us back is, well, us. Our own limiting beliefs and negative thoughts about ourselves can keep us — mentally and physically — from being our best. Which is what we’re working on in Week 4 of the April Fit Bottomed Challenge! (Missed what the Fit Bottomed Challenge is all about? It’s free and it’s never too late to get started. What to Expect This Week of the Fit Bottomed Challenge: April 20-26

Monday, April 20: Every Monday you’ve been doing the superfoods thing, and today we challenge you to make a meal with as many superfoods as you can. Need ideas? As always, Fit Bottomed Eats has your meal inspriation here!

Tuesday, April 21: Remember that mantra you came up with last week? Share a time with @FitBottomedGirl and #FBGChallenge when it helped you make a healthy decision for a chance to win free fit goodies!

Wednesday, April 22: Work it Wednesday is on and popping! Take last week’s Superhero Circuit up a notch by increasing your reps by five. Here are the moves: 25 jumping jacks, 25 squats, 25 push-ups, 25 high-knees and 25 supermans. Try to get through the circuit three times — you can do it!

Thursday, April 23: You’ve got the feeling, the outfit and the theme song … now it’s time to put your inner superhero all together! Draw him/her, write a description or select images from magazines to create a visual representation of yours. Remember, there are no limitations but your own creativity, so have fun with it!

Friday, April 24: There’s nothing more “superhero” than the perfect push-up. And today, we challenge you to practice your push-up form until perfect. Get tips here.

Saturday, April 25: You’ve been doing such a great job this week that it’s time you celebrate — and get a high-five! Grab a bud for a run/walk and warm-up with this High-Five Partner Move!

Sunday, April 26: This month you’ve gotten stronger inside and out, and we want you to start thinking about how you can keep your momentum going for next month. So, set a goal to do something out of your comfort zone. Need ideas? Tis the season for mud runs, obstacle courses, 5Ks and the like, but we also recommend trying new fitness classes, new moves and new pieces of equipment!
