Be On A Game Show While You’re Giving Birth!
I have three words for the newest TLC show, Labor Games: OH MY GOSH. Okay, who am I kidding, I have more words than that! But I’ll let you watch so you know what I’m talking about first:

First of all, I don’t know whether these women are laboring with or without pain relief, but I can say for certain that there were points during labor that I kinda wanted to punch the nurse — the lovely nurse who helped me so much — so I imagine a stranger drilling questions at me might get a real punch to the throat. Second of all: But there are prizes! And labor is a lot of sitting around waiting for things to happen anyway, why not pass the time? Third: But shouldn’t these women be trying to rest? And enjoy the moment of getting ready to birth a child? Ah, what do I care … I was watching Real Housewives of Atlanta for the first and last time when I was in active labor with my third. (I’m more of a Jersey girl.) Whatever gets you through the pain, right?
Would you participate in a game show during labor? I just wonder what happens when things get real and the woman is like ENOUGH LEAVE ME ALONE I DON’T CARE ABOUT WINNING A BABY BJORN. —Erin
