Hot to Trot: Take the August Fit Bottomed Challenge!

Are you feeling hot, hot, hot? Us, too! And it’s not just because of the scorching temps. This month’s Fit Bottomed Challenge* is all about embracing your inner hotness and lighting your inner fire to be your healthiest. It’s also about getting you fired up to eat more veggies (like, working up to EIGHT servings!), making you sweaty with fun workouts and daily challenges, and actually trotting. Trotting as in this and running!

But don’t worry. As always, we’ll ease you into it. You’ll start small and end big. By the end of the month you’ll be asking for a fire hose to cool yourself down you’ll be so darn hot! Get ready!

What to Expect This Week of the Fit Bottomed Challenge: August 3-9

Monday, August 3: Today’s challenge is simple: get one veggie in your breakfast! A lot of times for breakfast we’ll grab something quick and easy like a protein bar, but if you can sneak a veggie in that first meal of the day, you’re already on your way to eating more fruits and veggies. Two of our favorite ways to sneak veggies in are in omelettes (learn how to make one easily here) and green smoothies.

Tuesday, August 4: Intentions are powerful things. So today, set an intention to embrace your inner hotness. You don’t need fixing. You are amazing. No one can stop you!

Wednesday, August 5: We want you to embrace your inner power with a little Power Yoga. Get the free workout here.

Thursday, August 6: Today, light your inner fire with a little external motivation in the form of this video. You’re welcome.

Friday, August 7: Too steamy to get outside? Steam things up inside with a dance workout. Either crank up the tunes and just dance away, or try one of these dance workouts.

Saturday, August 8: Let the trotting begin! Today, walk or run for 20 minutes. Share how it went with us (@FitBottomedGirl) and #FBGChallenge for a chance to win a free fit prize pack customized just for you!

Sunday, August 9: Do you have a power song? One that pumps you up to really go after it in the gym and in, well, life? Find one today! Need suggestions? We’ve got tons of jams to choose from here!
