I remember that when I was training for a marathon, I was starving from all the mileage. And, as such, I probably took a little too much delight in carb-loading. (Who can blame a girl, right?) Overall, I feel like I did a decent job of giving my body the fuel it needed for marathon training, but it was tricky. In fact, to figure it all out, I read a whole freakin’ book on it. Man, oh, man I wish I had this post from Fit Bottomed Eats in my life back then!
Anne’s what to eat when training for a marathon tips (she’s one of our fave bloggers and is a new writer over on Eats, by the way!) are SO important and spot on.
