I don’t think it will shock anyone here to learn that we’re all about that sriracha. Also, vodka. And yes, beer.
And that’s why this chelada recipe from UV Vodka is so darn great! It uses UV Sriracha vodka (yep, you’ve seen it here before), and since it’s paired with tomato juice, lime juice, and light beer, it’s not quite as strong as your typical mixed vodka drink, making it an awesome choice for kicking off your tailgate (or, if you’re so inclined, your holiday cooking — hey, it’s never too early to start celebrating responsibly, right?).
- 1.5 ounces UV Sriracha
- 12 ounces light beer
- ¼ cup tomato juice
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- dash of Worcestershire sauce
- Serve in a salt-rimmed pint glass with a lime garnish.
What else would you add to a chelada? I’d definitely get some celery in there, and I’m pretty sure my husband would reach for some pickles. —Kristen
