You’ll see numerous weight-loss tips all over the internet at all times of year, but the most ridiculous ones seem to come out near the holidays. Which is exactly why we’re sharing this list of seven weight-loss tips to ignore this holiday season from our friends at Green Mountain at Fox Run (a legit and truly healthy weight-loss retreat that’s anti-diet). I mean, how often have you seen these and how often have they worked? Neva! So read on and ditch these weight-loss “tips” for good.

Thanks for the advice! It is very hard to know what to listen to and what not to – and we are bombarded with diets promising weight loss at a time we are most vulnerable – Christmas! Thanks for the advice

    How are you all friends?

  3. I love that all of this advice centers around doing what makes you feel good (now and in the long run). For the past several months, I’ve been focusing on mindful eating–carefully selecting what I eat in terms of what will satisfy me and then savoring it while I am eating–rather than worrying about calories, etc. I’ve also stepped back from the scale. I haven’t quite given it up entirely (baby steps), but not weighing every day has helped shift my focus. And guess what, I haven’t gained weight because I quit checking that number every morning. Thanks FBG and Green Mountain at Fox Run!
