How to Get the Most Out of Naps (Yours!)

National Napping Day is coming up next week and we’re ready to celebrate early! Now that I’m wearing a watch that tracks my sleep and my steps, I can see in hard numbers how my sleep is doing. When I get in 300 steps overnight, I know that I’m going to be tired. And while sometimes it seems to underestimate my sleep — I know that one night I definitely slept more than two hours (!) — I think it is telling about the quality of my sleep sometimes. So, naps? Yes, please.

I rarely grab an afternoon snooze session, but some days when the baby naps and I’m feeling run down, I’ll try to grab a couple of winks. Check out all the advantages of catching a quick daytime doze, courtesy of the Casper sleep experts — and the type of nap to avoid!

You have to be SO careful not to go into Bad Idea Nap territory! That’s when I vow to never take naps again …

Are you ever able to catch a nap? My husband is decidedly more skilled at napping than I am. —Erin
