Tap Into Your Desires With This Heart-Centered Planner

Every September, I get practically giddy at back-to-school time. Even though I’ve been out of school for more than a decade, I still have a serious thing for school supplies and planners. (Seriously, my heaven is the OfficeMax pen aisle.) There’s nothing like a fresh and clean notebook and a brand new flowing pen to signal a new season … a new start … and opportunity. It’s like New Year’s Day, in September.

Which brings me to this: the best planner, EVER. (And disclosure: we love it so much that we’re an affiliate!)

planner-spread-daily

I’ve been using this planner for a year and a half now and I LOVE IT because it is not your normal calendar and to-do list. It puts your heart’s desires and self care first — which gives you and your long list of things to complete perspective. (And we all know how important perspective is.)

Offered in both a daily or weekly version (I like the daily; Erin has the weekly planner) and based on Danielle LaPorte’s brilliant book The Desire Map, this planner has a built-in place for you to record what you’re grateful for, what you want to change in your life and stop doing (because, yes, there is freedom in saying no to the things that aren’t serving you), and even a soul-prompting question or statement for you to answer or consider. It also has your usual schedule and place to write down to-dos, monthly goal-setting pages, along with a place for you to write down the three things you really, really need to do.

While all of the sections rock, listing my “three things” every day helps me to prioritize, focus and set realistic expectations for myself. (I’m probably not the only one with a mile-long to-do list every day, right? This seriously helps me feel more productive and more accomplished — which leads me to feeling better about my day and myself.) And I love the extra room to just doodle and all the pretty tabs and quotes.

I know it’s weird to think about buying your 2017 planner now, but these just went on sale and they always sell out. So now is the time to buy yours. At $44, they may seem kinda pricey, but I can tell you from personal experience that they are worth every penny. They’re gorgeous, well made, and mine honestly makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Pick up yours here now! I just ordered mine and I cannot wait for it to get here so that I can stare longingly at it and pet it. —Jenn
