When You’re Bad at Goodbyes, You Say ‘See Ya Later’

goodbye

I still remember sitting in my apartment in California, on the phone to Jenn, brainstorming about a site that would become Fit Bottomed Girls. What started as a fun little side project while we both had full-time jobs grew and grew. Thousands of posts, four websites, two books and a Today Show appearance later, I’m stepping away. As I mentioned yesterday on Fit Bottomed Mamas, it wasn’t a decision I’ve made lightly, but sometimes the right decisions are the hard decisions.

I’m not entirely sure what the future will hold for me. For now, my three little kiddos are content to run me ragged 24/7, and I’m making the decision about whether I’ll go back to graduate school for a complete career change. But no matter where I go or what I do, I can’t say this will be goodbye forever. I mean, when I run my second half marathon in April, it’ll be pretty hard not to do a recap. I can’t let my fingers get too lazy, after all.

I’m terrible at goodbyes, and I much prefer “see you laters,” but I did want to extend a huge thank you to all of you readers who have visited over the years, those who have read and commented and weighed in and made the Fit Bottomed World everything it is today. I have no doubt that Jenn and Kristen have great things in store to continue to encourage, motivate and entertain all of you! (Like if you haven’t listened to the podcast, get on that.)

See ya later, alligators!Erin
