Thank you Orbit Gum for sponsoring this post. Get into the action and pick up some Orbit at your favorite retailer!
I have loved Orbit Gum FOR YEARS.
Not to toot my own horn, but, like, when it comes to sugarfree gum I am basically a freakin’ aficionado. I have one piece pretty much every day, and I LOVE IT. There’s nothing quite like a piece of Orbit Gum in Peppermint or Spearmint or Sweet Mint to perk up your tastebuds and support your healthy lifestyle. Seriously, it’s my go-to.
And, besides Orbit Gum having tons of flavor for only 5 to 10 calories per serving, sugarfree gum also provides oral care benefits. But you probably already know that. Do you know how else it helps you be healthier, though? Like seriously amazing ways that Orbit Gum puts your healthy goals more within reach?
Let me break it down. If you’re not a gum chewer yet, prepare to be. ‘Cause Orbit Gum is awesome and it can help you #ChewToABetterYou! (That’s Wrigley’s new campaign — but more on that in a bit!)
3 Ways Orbit Gum Can Make Your Day Healthier
1. It can help perk you up for workouts. Orbit Gum makes your mouth feel clean and fresh and just, well, more awesome. And when your mouth feels that great, it makes you feel more confident. Which is always a good thing before you hit the gym. Not to mention that minty flavors like Peppermint, Spearmint and Sweet Mint can give you a serious energy zing. Which is exactly why I love to pop a piece before a workout or a run.
Not only does it keep my mouth from getting dry, but I also find it oddly soothing to chomp to the beat of my feet pounding the pavement. Or whatever tunes I’m jamming to.
2. It stops the habit of munching while you cook or bake. It’s not just me who likes to taste and taste and taste as they cook, right? I mean, if you’re making a salad or dish full of veggies, a few bites here or there of produce isn’t a big deal, but when you’re baking cookies? Er, it’s easy to go overboard with the cookie dough and get totally full before anything even comes out of the oven! If you suffer from the same cooking/baking malady as me, Orbit Gum is also your friend.
Pop a piece in your mouth and all of a sudden it’s like you don’t need to taste anything else. You’ve already got so much flavor to chomp on!
3. It helps you to be more mindful. We all know that to be truly healthy and well we need to be mindful. And that’s why Wrigley’s #ChewToABetterYou campaign encourages consumers to incorporate sugarfree gum into their health and wellness routines to promote balance through mindful consumption.
I don’t know about you, but sugarfree gum has certainly helped me to stop snacking mindlessly or out of boredom. If I’m feeling snacky but not actually hungry, I chew on a piece, take a few deep breaths and ask myself what I really need.
Basically, Orbit Gum helps me to feel more confident and ready to not just make the most of every moment — but to make every moment healthier.
Orbit Sugarfree Gum is available in Spearmint, Peppermint, Wintermint, Bubblemint, Strawberry, Citrus, Sweet Mint and Orbit White. What’s your fave flavor? I’ve always been a Peppermint girl, but Spearmint is my jam lately. —Jenn

Got to disagree with you here – Orbit contains aspartame, and that is NOT a good ingredient. I’ll take sugar any day. It also has artificial coloring, flavoring, and preservatives. All in all not something I consider good for my health.
I love a good gum! x
It’s true that orbit Gum makes your mouth feel clean and fresh and just, well, more awesome. And when your mouth feels that great, it makes you feel more confident. Which is always a good thing before you hit the gym. Very informative post.

I see a lot of benefits from chewing Orbit Gum. I feel very alert, that is the most obvious, because when you chew, a lot of oxygen on the brain, the gum is also circulated more. But I notice you should not chew for too long, it will cause you to dry your mouth, or tooth decay
