3 Ways to Recover Harder, Better, Faster

You know that Daft Punk song “Harder, Better, Faster“? Well, that’s basically how I like to recover. Because who wants to waste time between workouts doing anything else other than becoming even more badass? Not me. (Unless it involves wine. Then, fine. I’ll have wine.)

So here are the three products (sent to us for editorial review) that are helping us to recover harder, better, faster — and more comfortably.


OOlala Sandal ($59.95)

I have these sandals either in my gym bag or on my feet at pretty much all times. The footbed design absorbs 37 percent more impact than traditional ones, according to the company, which helps to give you arch support and relieve stress from your feet, legs and lower back. And, according to me, they feel INSANELY good on your feet. Soft, cute, machine washable, moisture-resistant (and don’t retain smell!), my feet basically crave them after workouts. And after really tough leg workouts, they truly do feel luxurious to slip into.


2-in-1 Hexa Massage Roller ($39.99)

We loved this foam roller so much that we became an affiliate of the company. It’s the perfect size (either in full size or taken apart into two smaller rollers), is hella sturdy and has firm but flexible raised bumps that give you awesome self-myofascial release. If you are ready to take your foam rolling to the next level (and this is certainly a roller for those who are experienced with foam rolling already), this be your roller, yo.


OXiGEN Shot ($2.99)

Water is just water. H2O is just H2O, right? According to science, wrong! These OXiGEN Shots contain a proprietary O4 oxygen molecule rather than O2 oxygen. What does that mean? Well, in a six-month, double-blind, placebo-controlled study completed at Indiana State University, these shots reduced the effects of fatigue and improved post-exercise recovery in general. They may also help with hangovers — because, again, wine.

    Ahh, the wine…. Unfortunately, they haven’t yet invented a wine that can help your exercise recovery. Hangover recovery, yes; exercise, no!I love sandals and recommend them highly, just not while actually in the gym. My toes thank me.

  4. Oxigen shots look pretty cool, don’t they. I have a penchant for new products.

    I’ll fork over 3 bucks to give them a go.

    During workouts, we usually face the breakdowns but at that time, the best way is not to left the exercise but be patient during recovery. Add more nutrition and essentials that are helpful to heal your body.
