The Importance of Hot Water and Healthy Living

Finding alternative, natural medicine is an excellent way to save money and reduce your dependence on conventional drugs. While conventional medicine is certainly helpful, and often life saving, it is usually not necessary for minor illness. Natural remedies can be excellent tools for prevention. One of the best, most timeless medicines that we rely on in natural and conventional medicine is water. Clean, hot water is beneficial for a number of reasons, and it is an important component in staying healthy. Here are five surprising health benefits of hot water.

Cleanse Your Body

Hot water is an excellent way to cleanse and detox your body. Warm water is capable of flushing out toxins. Go to a sauna and sweat it out, or stay at home and make a potent detox tea with hot water, lemon juice, ginger and honey. Cleansing your body with herbal teas and a hot sweat are great ways to stay cleansed and healthy.

Alleviate Pain

Heat is a fantastic way to soothe sore muscles, because it increases blood flow. Relax muscle spasms and cramps by putting a hot water pack on your inflamed body. A hot water bottle is an age-old remedy that will quickly ease your pain. Use warm water to soothe headaches, injuries and cramps.

Open Your Sinuses

The heat and steam from a hot shower is wonderful for clogged sinuses and colds. The steam will help open your nasal passages, making you feel refreshed. This is a great solution for immediate relief when you are sick.

Protect Against Skin Infections

Warm water rejuvenates and detoxifies your skin and has the potential to lower your risk of contracting skin infections. Drinking warm water will keep your skin moisturized and can help prevent acne. Warm water helps unclog your pores and flushes out the toxins within your pores.

Water is an incredibly powerful medicine that we rely on virtually every day. Use warm water to care for yourself when you’re healthy and sick.

How does warm water make you feel? Is a hot shower or warm herbal tea the first thing you turn to when you get sick? —Alex

    Again thanks for sharing…

  2. I totally agree with you, hot water not only helps us relax but also has a great cleaning effect if mixed with lemon, ginger, honey. But according to me, a lot of hot bath will stretch dangerous veins for the body. So take a hot bath safely
