The Perfect Grilling Gift (to Someone Else or Yourself!)

Grilling season is in full effect. For the past couple of weeks, we’ve been grilling almost twice every weekend (even when it’s raining!) because, I mean, really, is there anything better than some good tunes, friends, a glass of wine and a whole lot of roasted veggies, potatoes and meat? I think not. It’s pretty much my favorite way to spend a weekend afternoon and evening.
And, guys, my grilling game just got upped. BIG TIME.

We got the chance to try ButcherBox and fell so hard for them that we signed up as an affiliate. Because when we find awesome stuff, well, we can’t keep it to ourselves. It must be shared, for the greater grill-loving good of all!

In case you haven’t heard of ButcherBox, here’s what it is and how it works: it’s basically a subscription service that sends AMAZING, high-quality, grass-fed beef, free-range organic chicken and heritage breed pork directly to you house. No two boxes are the same and for $129 a month, you get 8 to 11 pounds of high-quality meat. That’s about enough for about 18 to 25 individual meals that each have around 6 to 8 oz. of meat. So, it’s a hearty amount!
It is a subscription service, but you can change the frequency to once a month, every other month or every 3 months, and you can cancel at any time with no penalty.
Even more fun is that each month you get a different curated experience. So, you can try new cuts of meat — and they even include recipe cards to help ya in the kitchen.

You guys know how I love getting my meat straight from the source so that I know exactly what I’m eating and buying, and this is basically like getting that without the trip to the farm! It’s so convenient — and the meat is SO delicious. It’s also super fun to get new cuts every month — it’s like a delicious grilling challenge every month!
If you’re a grilling super fan like I am — or you are looking for the perfect gift for someone who is — ButcherBox is PERFECT. Give it a go and I bet you fall in love like I did!
Long live the grill! In addition to meat, what else do you like to throw on the barbie? Lately I’ve been into thick eggplant slices brushed with olive oil and sprinkled with a little salt and pepper, and it’s everything. —Jenn
