Although my daughter is technically not named after Gwen Stefani, it’s no secret that I love me some Gwen Stefani tunes and I love her girl-powerness. And yeah, if I hadn’t been binge-watching The Voice with my husband when I was pregnant, maybe the name wouldn’t have been so in our brains.

It’s all about the timing, right?

So, I totally get how people would watch something on TV, get inspired and name their little after someone they see. Especially athletes doing incredible things.

Like, if you’re going to name your kid after someone, why not do it with a name that’s synonymous with breaking records and overall greatness?
