2018 Noshies: The Best Food, Beverage and Kitchen Products

It’s party time in the Fit Bottomed World! We’re celebrating our birthday week over at Fit Bottomed Girls with fantastic giveaways, great content, and some pretty exciting news. And because all the best parties are full of deliciousness, we’re getting in on the action by announcing the winners of the 2018 Noshies!
So, if you’re ready to see what we’re loving SO HARD out of all the great food-related goodies we’ve checked out over the past year, read on! Or if you’d like to start out with a trip down memory lane, you can catch up with who’s been awarded a Noshie in years past right here.

2018 Noshies Winners

Best incorporation of a super trendy ingredient: Hope Black Garlic Hummus. It’s flavorful, good for you, and works with everything from carrots to sandwiches to all kinds of recipes. Black garlic is hot right now — and this is such an easy way to add it to your daily eats.
Best way to dress a salad: Primal Kitchen Green Goddess Dressing. You don’t have to follow a Paleo diet to fall in love with this salad dressing, but it’s darn tasty and since it’s free of sugar, soy, canola, dairy, gluten and grains, it’s something we can all enjoy.
Best way to start your day that isn’t coffee: Athletic Greens. We were introduced to this recently and quickly became obsessed. It’s packed with, well, all the goodness, it shakes up in seconds, and it honestly tastes great. It doesn’t have us saying no to coffee, mind you, but it’s helping enough with our energy levels that we are cutting our coffee consumption down a bit!
Best way to start your day with coffee: Ninja Coffee Brewer. And when we are drinking coffee, we are LOVING making it in this system. With the ability to easily make a cup, travel mug, half carafe or full carafe with a regular brew or rich brew, it’s so convenient. And no wasteful pods!
Best way to feel connected to your food: Garden in a Can. Some of us were born with a love of all things green, but without green thumbs, and these kits make growing your own herbs (and other veggies) so simple that literally, anybody can do it. (Kristen is proof!)
Best frozen convenience treat: Yasso Greek Yogurt Bars. They’re gluten-free, naturally low in calories, and come in all kinds of interesting flavors — we’re partial to the ones with caramel swirled in the center. And if portion control is an issue for you (welcome to the club, and), these single-serving bars solve the problem.
Best way to scratch that pumpkin spice itch: Califia Farms Pumpkin Spice Latte Cold Brew Coffee With Almondmilk. It’s vegan and free of dairy, gluten and soy, plus it contains only half the sugar and fat of the original PSL, so you can get your pumpkin spice on in a healthier way.
Best plant-based snackbar: Vega Protein+ Snack Bar. This bar won its Food Fight, and it’s won a serious place in our foodie hearts (and bellies) ever since. Seeing that it’s vegan, gluten-free, GMO-free and soy-free, with pea and brown rice protein, plus a looong list of really healthy added ingredients like kale and algae, it’s hella good for you. And! It’s tasty.
Best way to simplify the big ass salad routine. Salad Shake Ups. All the veggies, none of the prep.
Best sweet treat for sipping: Rau Drinking Chocolate. You want your daily chocolate — but you also want more superfoods and less sugar. You’re gonna want a cup of this.
Best way to feel good inside and out first thing in the morning: Grounds & Hounds. Because who wouldn’t want to help rescue dogs while getting their java fix? Every pound saves a hound — plus? It’s GOOD.
Best little addition to our kitchen: Lucky Iron Fish. It looks like a cute little fishy trinket, but it adds iron to the food you’re cooking —  and for every fish purchased, another one is donated to a family in need. What a cool — and super easy — way to make a difference at home and around the world!
Best turmeric product: Numi Turmeric Chai. With turmeric becoming such an insanely huge (and healthy) food trend, there are a lot of options out there, but this spicy, peppery tea latte was our top pick.
Best for traveling wine lovers: Paso Robles. We know we (re: Jenn) talk about this area a lot, but, guys, it’s amazing and continues to do some incredible things in the wine world!
Best for non-traveling wine lovers: Vinebox. Three glasses of obscure and delicious wine plus tasting cards, delivered straight to your door? Yep, we love, love, love this concept.

Fun, right? These are a few of our favorite things, but we’re sure you’ve got your own faves, so be sure to tell us what you’d honor with a Noshie in the comments! And don’t miss the giveaways and excitement this week on FBG — including the Fitties and GIVEAWAYS here.
