This Stuff Is Basically Magic for Your Hands

If you do a lot of heavy weight-lifting, rock-climbing or spend lots of time on the bar doing pull-ups and such, you know the pain of shredding your hands. The pain that starts when you first have a callus tear and later makes something as simple as washing your hair THE MOST PAINFUL THING YOU’VE EVER DONE. Not to mention that it means that you won’t be getting back to full-blown workouts for days, if not weeks, as your hands need time to heal.

Womp. Womp.

Unless you have this stuff, which my entire gym is raving about after the Throwdown.

The Throwdown is basically a three-day event for Fit Pit members that tests your strength, your character — and your hands (it’s really fun, promise!). And although I wasn’t able to participate this year with my 3-month-old in tow and all and a sick hubby on the mend, I heard loud and clear that crossFIXE HANDS and climbOn Bar were amazing at not just helping torn calluses and beat up hands heal but also to actually help with the pain, too.

Fit Pit owner Sheryl loved it so much that she ordered some for members, and my bud Tina was amazed at how it was helping her hands to heal:

Tina is a bad ass.

Both products are made with food-grade ingredients and are totally synthetic free. They help to moisturize and repair skin that’s torn up. I’ve used the crossFIXE HANDS before and after workouts for maintenance of my hands (as I’m getting back on the bar!), and the climbOn Bar is great to do that plus soothe cuts and hangnails and diaper rash and all kinds of skin issues. This stuff is just great! And both are totally affordable at less than $20 for a jar or stick that will last you quite a while, as a little goes a long way.

Who else knows the pain that is showering with shredded hands? I shudder just thinking of the shower after this day. —Jenn
