3 Summer Finds We’re Digging

Happy Memorial Day and happy unofficial summer! To celebrate, we thought we’d share three new goodies that we’ve been loving that don’t just say “summer,” they scream it! Hooray for fit sunglasses, long skirts and new bright kicks!

1. Mott 50 Vis Island Wrap Skirt. Is there anything better than a long flowy skirt in summer? We think not. And while this wrap skirt is certainly a splurge ($110!), it’s super cute, quality and more than just a skirt. It’s sun protection! With a UPF 50 rating, it’s sun-protective fabric that is soft, smooth and oh-so comfy. With a thicker flattering waistband and fun horizontal stripes, we love this paired with a basic tank and flip-flops when running errands or with wedges and a nicer top for a night out. And although we haven’t tried it yet, we imagine it would be AWESOME with a bikini top on the beach. With a daiquiri in hand. Of course.

2. Oakley Women Sweet Spot in Rose Metal. This whole Oakley Women trend of “fitness” sunglasses that look more fashion than sweaty? We’re digging it. And these are totally lovely. Perfect from the running trail to, like, anywhere, they are lightweight, impact-resistant and provide 100 percent of UVA, UVB, UVC and harmful blue light up to 400 nm. The big round lenses are fashionable—and provide great protection from the sun on your peepers. And believe us, we’ve run in these countless times and they don’t slip and always feel great! The Oakley Women Sweet Spot goes for $110, but they’re totally worth it. And you can even get prescription lenses in them!

3. K-Swiss Blade-Light Run II. This summer, why not kick up your runs with a new pair of fun, bright and lightweight kicks? The new K-Swiss Blade-Light Run II is for a neutral striker and has technology that helps you to hit more mid-foot when you run. Super light with a 10-millimeter heel drop, this running shoe has a supportive-yet-seam-free upper to let your feet breathe. At $95, they’re a fun new running shoe that’ll make you want to move!
