Workout I Did: Quad WOD + Push-Up Plank Fun — and a Giveaway!

This is a sponsored post brought to you by Propel. For our sponsored post policy, click here.

You know, I love my early morning workouts. But I love them even more in the summer. Because, duh, light, but also because it’s so, so, so much cooler at 5:30 a.m. than it is at 5:30 p.m. And believe me, with a workout like this, you want it to be cooler. I did this one at The Fit Pit (of course — that Sheryl comes up with the best workouts!), and it resulted in plenty of booty soreness the next day. Plus, you know how I feel about that second plank/push-up combo! Oh, and for the record, I used 15-pound dumbbells and did 300 meters on the rower … looks like I need to keep practicing that push-up/plank!

I have an aluminum water bottle at my desk, and another one in my gym bag. I have a couple of infusion bottles so I can have cucumber, watermelon, or lemon-infused water.

I always keep my portable water bottle in my handbag.

  5. Kate L says:

I ALWAYS have water with me, as I’m perpetually thirsty. I have really bad allergies so I take Claritin every day and have for about 20 years. It works, but it also makes me parched! Add to that the regular workouts, etc…I go through a few Nalgene bottles of water every day plus what I drink at the gym. I am never without my water bottle!

  6. Ashley says:

I always keep my reusable water bottle with me! Thanks for the giveaway!

  7. Katie says:

I have 32 oz water bottle with a built in filter, so I’m always able to have clean water wherever I am! 🙂

  8. Kati says:

Always carry a cup with a lid & straw. I prefer my water really cold, so this way, I can add ice as needed.

  9. Jordan says:

I always carry a water bottle and eat a lot of hydrating fruits and veggies, especially in hot weather. I love Propel, thanks for the giveaway!

  10. Lindsay says:

A clear water bottle at my desk so I can see how much I’ve had to drink each day. I make myself refill it twice a day.

Keeping water with you is the most important things where you go for gym or just for a normal walk water is must,if u wish can add some energy drink of some energy powder with water this will give you some more power.

  12. Sarah says:

When working 12 hour shifts in the ER, it can get hectic very quickly. I take constant breaks to hydrate myself with water or green tea and also take a deep breath to prevent myself from getting overwhelmed. I look forward to my breathers so much that I can’t help but stay hydrated!

  13. Pua says:

We splurged and pay for a water cooler in our home. I was surprised by how much more water we drink now that it’s so convenient!

  14. Madonna says:

I drink lots of water and always keep ice near me. I like the drink packets in my water.

  15. Robin says:

I don’t drink enough water! When I remember I haven’t had anything to drink in a while, I’ll guzzle!

  16. Cat says:

I have a water bottle on my desk at work, carry one to every exercise session, and have a ‘glass of the day’ at home for drinking with my dinner and up until bed. We also eat a lot of juicy fruits while they are in season!

  17. Nicole says:

I make sure to fill my 24 oz. Tervis cup with water 3-4 times a day…with plain cold water or Propel. I feel so much better now that I’m drinking more water and less sweet tea/soda!

  18. Arlinda says:

To keep myself hydrated all I drink is water. When I don’t keep myself hydrated I immediately feel the effects and I know my body and mind crave hydration. When I travel it’s harder to keep myself hydrated its then when I’m more likely to indulge in products like Propel.

  19. Alexis k. says:

I bring 2 water bottles to work ands stock one in the fridge. I’m not accustomed to city water, so I adapt by bringing my own!

  20. Deb E says:

Since it’s been a few weeks but don’t yet see the winner posted, I could still use some awesome Propel products in this drought we are having. I take the little water bottles out of my running belt and carry them in my purse and even in my pocket so I have water at all times. In this brutal summer heat you always have to be prepared!

  21. Jenn says:

And our lucky winner is Madonna with comment #14! Emailing you now to get your address — thanks to all who entered. Yay for staying hydrated! 🙂

I always start my day with a cup of hot green tea and then I drink water throughout the day. My new goal has been to try to drink a gallon a day. Im getting better at it and I can definitely tell the difference!
