Top Fitness Apps for a Happy and Healthy 2015
There was a time when I tried not to be glued to my phone, but now it seems like that slim little rectangle is hardly ever out of reach (unless I’m taking a yoga class). Instead of trying to fight the inevitable, I’m embracing it. Having a source of information, organization and entertainment at my fingertips is convenient and useful. And best of all: there are so many great fitness-focused apps to try! I have a wealth of options for staying motivated, keeping on top of important stats like steps and sleep, and setting and tracking goals. Whether you’re into running or rock-climbing, or just want to build some healthy habits in the New Year, there’s an app for you.

Maybe you can help; I’m looking for an app that makes you forget that cheesecake ever existed.
That one we haven’t found yet. *Will keep searching!* 🙂

Great article!!! Haven’t heard of any of these in my search for great apps! I’m excited to use them
I wish they made the outdoors one for android. That seems really neat! I love my nexercise app being using it for years. Keeps me motivated 🙂 I’ll be trying this new sleep app. I could use it.

There’s something for everyone in there.
My must-have apps are MapMyFitness, MyFitnessPal and Fitbit. I have them all connected and it’s nice that I can keep track of my exercise through MapMyFitness and my meals through MyFitnessPal and watch them all connect. I also live by my Fitbit app, my goal is to hit 10,000 steps a day and I will constantly look at it throughout the day to see where I’m at.
Love all these options — now need to figure out which one’s I can access. Thanks
I really like Lark, it’s a cool and at the same time useful app.
I also use ActivityTracker to monitor my physical metrics on a daily basis.

It’s lesser known, but definitely worth checking out.
