Maple Apple Turkey Pita to the Rescue

A new lunch idea: easy to make and easy to transport, perfect for a quick lunch-break or meal on the go.
Ingredients
  • 1 small whole-wheat pita
  • 1 tablespoon Alouette garlic & herbs cheese spread
  • 4-6 maple glazed turkey slices
  • ΒΌ apple, chopped
Instructions
  1. Cut the pita in half and open down the middle on each side. Spread the Alouette garlic & herbs cheese spread on the inside.
  2. Place 2 to 3 turkey slices in each half of the pita.
  3. Cut the apple using an apple slicer and then cut two slices of the apple into smaller pieces (you will have the rest of the apple slices for an extra snack or to save for later).
  4. Place the apple slices into the two pitas, on top of the turkey.
