This turmeric rice recipe is quick and easy to make, plus it makes the perfect side dish for almost everything!
- 1 tbsp ghee or butter
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 c Jasmin rice
- 1 1/2 c water
Heat ghee/butter over medium heat until melted.
Add in salt and spices and cook until slightly toasted, stirring constantly (about 30 seconds to a minute).
Add in rice, stirring to combine. Cook another minute while stirring constantly.
Add water and bring to a boil.
Cover, turn heat to a low simmer, and cook for 15 minutes or until rice is fluffy and done. Enjoy with all the things!
