Put rice in sieve and rinse under cold water for 30 seconds.
Bring 12 cups of water to a full boil.
Add rice and stir.
Reduce heat to medium high and boil uncovered for 30 minutes.
Drain and let water drip through sieve for 10 seconds.
Return the rice to the pot (off the heat) cover with a tight fitting lid and let it to steam for 10 minutes.
Uncover, fluff and serve.
