Jimmy Kimmel and Jessica Alba Hit Childbirth Class

When I thought of childbirth classes before taking one of my own, I always thought they’d be rather serious affairs, with lots of breathing and textbook instruction. But I actually remember laughing a lot in the one that I took. I mean, pregnancy is all-around bizzarro-land sometimes, and in class, there is a lot of talk of usually unmentioned unmentionables, so there is bound to be some adolescent giggling, even among “mature” adults. At least I giggled. And one time I actually laughed to the point of tears when our instructor had to explain to a husband that to induce labor one drinks castor oil, not Castrol motor oil. We had to take a 5-minute recess for everyone to catch their breaths.

Anyhoo, it brought back some childbirth-class memories to watch this video of Jimmy Kimmel attending a childbirth class with Jessica Alba. (She has since given birth to a baby girl!)
