Spray Sunscreen Saved My Sanity

When I bought spray sunscreen early in the summer, I didn’t know how life-changing it would be. With two kiddos under 3, applying goopy sunscreen has never been my favorite task. Little did I know that my test-run with the spray version would make our pre-sun ritual a million times easier. As I’ve applied and reapplied the spray sunscreen this summer, I’ve been wondering if it’s as effective as the lotions that leave behind the sticky, greasy residue. Lucky for me, sprays are just as good. But like any sunscreen, you have to apply it correctly — and apply enough of it — for it to be effective.

I chatted with a dermatologist to get some dos and don’ts of spray sunscreens, so read on for the how-to of the oh-so-convenient sprays. —Erin
