I would love to try The Bar Method this year! I’m starting to become a little bored with my workouts, so this would be a great workout to shake things up a bit! Thanks for the helpful reviews!

I want to try more workouts that are strength and cardio combined so I don’t burn out on one or the other.
In addition to the Bar workouts, I am really excited to try out kettlebell this year! My gym just hired a kettlebell certified(something like that!) instructor so they will be adding it to the other fitness classes soon! Woot Woot!

Patrick Goudeau’s Extreme Calorie Burn dvd

Karrie
I have been trying to start my marathon training, but have been plagued with knee and foot issues and I think it’s because I have been slightly negligent in my cross training. I hate weight lifting, but I did dance for years and years as a kid and into college, but have neglected it since marriage and kids came along. I would LOVE to have a great toning regimen that I can use at home that reminds me of the “good old days”! Plus, I’d love to have the legs back that I had back then!! 🙂
I have been wanting to try the Bar Method DVDs for a while. Pilates saved my running so I would love to try it!
I never even thought about ballet as an at home workout, but duh. Ballerinas have awesome muscular legs. I bet this dvd series would give a serious burn in legs and booty the next day. Would love to try the bar method out. 🙂

There are a bunch of Bar Method “rip-offs” here in Chicago, I really want to try the “real deal.” I’m just a little intimidated by it! I also want to try the Real Ryder spin workouts that also work your abs – FUN. And more yoga…. working on the mind-body connection (does Bar Method help with that?)

This looks like an interesting workout. I’d also like to try pilates, and just started going to a cardio kickboxing class one night a week which is fun and killer!
I was in marching band (color-guard ) in high school, and i was the fittest i have ever been. After having two kids and a hysterectomy at 25, i have tried many different things to get that old body back, without taking dance classes at 26… i would love to give this a try because it incorporated everything i did in color-guard 9 years ago.. Come spring i am also increasing the distance that i run, and shoot for my 5k to be under 30 minutes.
Help! I need to loose 50 pounds this year and this would so totally help.

I just started the Firm a few weeks ago. I absolutely love it, and working out at home, but I’ve heard from a lot of people that they love Barre method classes, Bar videos, etc. We don’t have any fitness studios nearby who do Barre method, so this set would be perfect for this Princess from Podunk! 🙂

I am looking forward to trying Barre Sculpt and Piloxing!

In 2012 I would LOVE to do a TRI! I love biking, I used to be a good swimmer and I am an awful runner but I love the idea of all three together! I am not going Ironman from the start, maybe a mini-tri first and perhaps the fever will take hold!
Amazing giveaway!! In 2012 I would like to try some more kick boxing workouts… thanks so much for the chance to win!

Thanks for the opportunity! This is embarrassing to admit, but my goal this year is to go to spinning class. I love biking outdoors but have never been able to get to the gym for an indoor workout.
I definitely want to go back to Bar Method, but because classes are pricey, I’d love the DVD’s and accessories. Someone put a bug in my ear to do the Survivor Mud Run, so it’s on my “to do” list.
I would really like to take a hula hoop class! I’m finally getting back to kick boxing which I love and a once a week yoga class to calm down my mind from all that agressive kicking/punching!
I just want to make through the entire 30 day shred!!
But seriously, winning this would be awesome!!
I LOVE the Bar Method! I’m eager to get started with it again, but after having my second child I need to start a routine targeting my diastasis recti…

My new workouts for this year actually include a bar! I just purchased one, so different levels of workouts on the bar would be great! I am also training for the several mud runs coming to my area this year, so running endurance and gaining lean muscle are my goals! Can’t wait to start w/ the bar!
Obviously the Bar Method would be one to try this year!

Another workout I’ve wanted to try for a while is called Punk Rope–it’s advertised as “Recess meets bootcamp” and the only equipment needed is a good quality jump rope. Punk Rope isn’t available where I live, but I’ve actually considered going to NYC, where it originated, on vacation to take class with the guy who designed it (I’ve heard that he often wears a kilt while Punk Roping).
I would love to try CrossFit!

There’s so much I would love to try! I think Zumba would be good after having my first baby (due in July!!) to feel sexy again. It looks like fun and there are classes popping up all over the place so it makes it easier to stay close to home for a quick workout. 🙂
I used to dance when I was younger, so the bar method would be great! Other than that, I will try anything to lose fat! Seems to be quite challenging to lose fat, not weight, since I don’t need to lose any weight…wish me luck! 😉
I am trying now supreme 90 but I would also like to try something for flexibility, leaner muscles so I would love to try the Barre Method

Pole Dancing! I’ve been trying to get up the nerve for two years now… I’m afraid I’ll miss the boat if I wait much longer and it won’t be easily accessible in my city anymore. I’ve been purposely trying to increase upper body strength for it. now I just have to increase my confidence!

I workout at home, so any new ideas or products could really give this workout a needed jolt! I was the biggest ballet dancer as a child and would love to see this make a come back. It was killer on the legs!
I just bought a Groupon for 4 weeks of sessions at a local Crossfit gym. I am really excited to try those workouts for the first time – I’m sure it’s really going to challenge my body in new ways!
I’ve been strength training for the past few months, but I really wanted to get back in to yoga/pilates/barre training. My body tends to respond better to low weight/no weight resistance exercises!
My 2012 fitness goals include getting back into yoga/pilates. I work out at home so this would work very well for. I took ballet as a child. Being at a barre brings back fond memories!
I would love to try pilates. Thanks!

I have two friends from Boston that have been living the barre lifestyle for 8 months or so now, and have seen AMAZING results. Unfortunately, here where I live, there are no barre studios around. I’ve been dying to try try barre method workouts for so long, and I’d be OVER-THE-TOP excited if I won this!!
I’m REALLY wanting is to try one of those stripper pole classes! Hopefully I cam find a Groupon for it soon!! My semi-mother-in law has a gorgeous body and credits it to Barre, so I’m really intrigued! The investment was a bit steep for a grad student like me.
I took bar classes at a local studio years ago and they were one of the best workouts I ever had. This year I hope to give Zumba a try!

I want to try Zumba in 2012!
I want to try a number of new things this year. I would LOVE to try a Barre class. Groupon had an offer for a studio in my area, but I can’t afford it right now. I also would LOVE to snag a rental copy or borrow a P90X from someone to try this year (SOON!) and I will be trying another exotic fitness class too. Really looking forward to it.

I’ve been doing yoga and barre-style classes for a while now, but I would also like to add in some Pilates to get my core strength to improve.
I signed up for some classes at the university, I’m really excited at taking both the yogalates and zumba classes. I figure I should be pretty good at zumba, with all the quinceñeras I went to in my youth. LOL.
Consistently do yoga and more strength training.
I’d like to start running again. And maybe work up the courage to try one of those sexy pole/chair dancing classes
I recently met a Bar Method instructor who was really inspiring to try it, but I got busy and never got around to it. This would be great to try, and then she and I would have more to talk about!

I am on a quest to not only lose weight and become fit and healthy, but to lose all of the inner turmoil and baggage that i have been collecting for so many years. I am working from the inside out and it would certainly be a boost to win this grab bag. I love exercise dvds and finding inspiration on forums such as this.
This year i’m doing at least 2 triathlon sprints. Swimming class starts tomorrow!!
I got a new Jackie Warner workout for Christmas. I have yet to try it, but that is what I would like to try this year!

I want to start doing many different types of workouts. I run 5 days a week and would like to insert new and fun workouts for my “rest” days as well as for additional activity on the days that I do run. I’m looking for variety to keep me motivated.
I would love to try this workout. I learned about it on Twitter from Ricki Lake tweeting about it. I hope I can take a live class soon since I just found out there’s a place about an hour from me that teaches Bar Method. In the meantime, it would be great to learn it on the dvd’s!
I want to try a few new things this year, mostly so I don’t get in a rut or lose interest!
My goal this year is to balance my cardio workouts with more pilates/yoga workouts.
I JUST tried Bar Method for the first time yesterday….and I am looking forward to more!
Ballet, and definitely the Bar Method! I, like a million other little girls, always dreamed of being a ballerina (without having taken a single ballet class). This will make exercising fun again!
Bar Method sounds interesting, I’ve always admired those dancer legs!
This sounds like so much fun!
Believe it or not, I once had a fortune teller tell me she saw me losing weight by working out on a ballet bar. This must be it! LOL

I should be getting my new bar this week! Yea! Need some DVDs to help me get into awesome shape!
the Barre workout sounds like fun! Right now I am spinning on the ergo trainer and lifting heavier weights…I am losing inches YAY! In the past I have lifted lights weights with lots of reps, but I am loving the heavy weights!
My cousin takes classes like these in Chicago and is nuts for them. I’m sure using these DVD’s won’t make me a size 0 like she is, but they would certainly help make things a bit…less jiggly ;).
I just discovered Bar Method at the end of 2011. In 2012, I want to try committing to Bar Method and going regularly 3-5 times a week to get those sculpted muscles they are known for. The bag would be a great addition to motivate me!
I’d love to try the Bar Method!!!
