10 Tips to Work Out After Work
9. Have a coworker hold you accountable. Work is a weird atmosphere because it forces you to spend more time with strangers than you do your own family sometimes. Take advantage of that daily interaction by asking a coworker to check in with you every morning to ask if you made it to the gym the night before. You don’t want to tell them no, and you don’t want to lie, so just do it.
10. Let’s make a deal. Just getting through the door is usually the hardest part. On days I just don’t feel like it, I’ll make a deal with myself. Just go, and after 10 minutes if you want to leave, you can. Ninety-nine percent of the time, once I’m there, I won’t want to leave.
How do you motivate yourself to workout after work? Here’s how some other Fit Bottomed Girls get it in:
@MrsPetrillo: I keep a gym schedule @ my desk so I know what classes I can catch after work.
@OlgaDavis30: Motivate with a small dessert with dinner. It’s the little things.
@biggreenpen: Simple—I work out w/people I can’t wait to see!
Christina Chacharon: Meet a friend there so they hold you accountable.
