How to Run a Half Marathon: Top Advice
@arpitgupta: Run outside. Please do not do all your training on treadmill. You will regret later.
@SteveWLayton: When going half #marathon distance, you will need to take chafe prevention seriously compared to short races.
@bwittrock28: Don’t be concerned with your time; your mentality will get you across the finish line.
You may also find you are sore in places you never knew could be sore, and your mind is stronger than you ever knew it could be: marathon running brings a whole new mental aspect you may not have experienced before. You will have to push through bleeding blisters, side aches, burning lungs, and maybe even a vomit or two. But ask anyone that has ever completed a half marathon and they will always say it’s worth it.
