Caramel Chai Milkshake

chai-milkshake
It’s pretty much impossible for me to see any milkshake recipe and not sing this song. So just know that as we share this amazing — and I mean amazing — recipe from Arctic Zero (remember our review on FBG?) for Healthy Comfort Foods Week (milkshakes are a serious comfort food!), I’m singing that. And sipping on high-protein deliciousness!

Who says that milkshakes and frozen treats have to be for summer? This Caramel Chai Milkshake recipe that uses Sea Salt Caramel Arctic Zero is cold, yes, but the flavors are warm and oh-so fall!
Ingredients
  • 2 cups almond milk
  • 2 chai green tea teabags
  • 8 scoops Sea Salt Caramel Arctic Zero
  • 6 ice cubes
  • Caramel sauce for drizzling
Instructions
  1. Warm the almond milk in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. When hot, add the chai green tea teabags to the pan and steep according to the package directions. Discard the teabags and allow the milk to cool before refrigerating to thoroughly chill.
  3. When the milk is cold, add to a blender along with the Sea Salt Caramel Arctic Zero and the ice cubes.
  4. Blend so the ice cubes are broken up and incorporated into the milkshake.
  5. Pour into glasses and top with a drizzle of caramel sauce.
  6. Serve immediately.
