Oh, but it is! And this year, for New Year New Rear Week, we are pulling out all of the Fit Bottomed stops.

New Year New Rear Week + Giveaways!

First, let’s talk about what you can expect this week through the end of next week. In a nutshell, just plain awesomeness. We’ll have special posts to help you make the most of your New Year motivation (and how to make it last) — like playlists, videos, quotes and tips. Plus, the giveaways we have planned are ridiculous. Like, SO RIDICULOUS.

So be sure to come back daily starting on Monday for all of those. Believe, you will not want to miss it. (Hint: SUP and Fitbit bling is involved … )

New Exciting Things at FBG

Second, the new year marks the start of a few other exciting changes we’re making here on FBG. You might see some new writers … hear some new voices … and even detect a few new content areas. Content areas that may come back as — ahem — new sister sites. You heard it here first, people. Awesome things to come for the Fit Bottomed World in 2016 and beyond!

The Fit Bottomed Challenge

It is on and poppin! And, after much discussion, we’re switching the challenge up a bit. This month the New Year New Rear challenge will be a month long, but going forward, we’ll change that to weekly challenges around special days/times of the year with occasional monthly challenges. Basically, it’ll be all the Fit Bottomed Challenge fun you’re used to, just in a condensed and/or more spontaneous (and therefore more exciting) timeline.

What to Expect This Week of the Fit Bottomed Challenge: January 1-3

Friday, January 1: Don’t just make a resolution, make a really, really good one with these suggestions and tips. And then share it with us for a chance to win free fit goodies customized just for you! (U.S. only and be sure to tag us @FitBottomedGirl and use #FBGChallenge!)

Saturday, January 2: Grab a timer and see how many of the following moves you can do in a minute each: Push-ups, squats, sit-ups, lunges, tricep dips, burpees. Keep track of your number and write it down. You might just see this daily challenge again …

Sunday, January 3: We think your booty is so awesome that it deserves a soundtrack, don’t you? Create a playlist for your new rear today. Need suggestions for jams? Try this booty-licious playlist or these top workout songs.

    This is the first challenge I am trying so I’m quite excited! I did a little better than I thought for my 1 minute tests and I added plié squats just to round out my legs and I was curious. I’ll be paying for it later. It’s time for me to get fit again. Thank you for all you all do and keep it up.
