My Favorite Worldly Snack: Dry-Roasted Edamame
Seeing that it’s Around the World Week and all, I thought I’d share my new favorite worldly snack: Seapoint Farms dry-roasted edamame. The company recently sent me a few varieties — from Lightly Salted to Spicy Wasabi to Sea Salt and Goji Blend — to try, and man, oh, man, am I glad I said yes. And while all the flavors had something different to offer, there was one absolute standout.
I’d died and gone to edamame heaven.
And these aren’t just tasty — I’d call them superfood-worthy. With 140 calories, 4 grams of fiber and 9 grams of protein per 1/4-cup serving, they are something special. They’re black edamame, which I didn’t even know existed, and they’re coated in “crunchy goodness,” which I’m assuming is the sea salt. They’re a slightly sweet and salty mix that had me — and even my kids — digging in for more. I could eat it straight up as an everyday snack, and they’re a wonderfully crunchy addition on salads. If you’re looking for a fun way to eat more worldly, try ’em!
