What girl doesn’t love chocolate? (Okay, I know there are a few of you, but I’m telling you, ya’ll are missing out!) And because we’re all about everything in moderation, we thought we’d share four new ways to satisfy your chocolate cravings. While the stuff in the heart-shaped boxes is delish this time of year, we certainly think these four options are more exciting—and in some cases much, much healthier!

4 Ways to Satisfy a Chocolate Craving

1. Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate Caramel with Sea Salt Bar. Trader Joe’s does it again! Okay, so there’s nothing really healthy about this chocolate bar, except for the health benefits of dark chocolate, but we’re obsessed lately, and Love Yo’Self Week seems like the perfect time to share the dark-chocolate bar love. Both salty, sweet and ooey-gooey, it’s heaven. Trust us. Just be sure to have a few buddies around to share the love.

  1. Republic of Tea also has a wonderful Double Dark Chocolate Yerba Mate tea that is ideal for me when I get chocolate cravings, since it’s under 5 calories per cup, not unreasonably-priced. I like to combine it with a bit of unsweetened vanilla almond milk and some stevia to feel super decadent.

  2. I have ordered 5 boxes of the Coco Berry Bars and give them to all my girlfriends to try! These are the most decadent, healthy, dark chocolate and raspberry bars I have ever had! Gave one to my husband out of the wrapper and he asked where in Europe were these made!!! So rich tasting, but only 193 calories!!! Mmmmmmmm!

  3. omg, Chocolate tea. I thought I was the only person on the planet who knew about chocolate tea.

    Even better though – my local tea shop (locally owned and operated by an awesome twenty-something girl) sells several flavors of chocolate tea – scooped out of their big old tea tins into packets just for you. They have chocolate orange, chocolate strawberry, chocolate coconut, chocolate vanilla… and, by far my favorite, chocolate cupcake, which has flavors of vanilla and caramel in it. Absolutely decadent with a dash of raw sugar or stevia in it. Make a little pot of it, and who needs dessert? It’s the best cure for my sweet tooth that I’ve found, and even with a spoonful of sugar it’s still under 30 calories or so, depending on the size of your spoonful.

  4. I bought the box of Trader Joe’s dark sea salt caramels and just have one when the chocolate craving hits. One piece of chocolate is only about 77 calories and is really quite satisfying due to the richness of the chocolate.
