Fit for Office Moves

1. Running for Office: Run in place, bringing up the intensity by progressing into high knee lifts and butt kicks, bringing heels up towards the rear.

2. Paul Ryan Abs: Sit-ups with oblique twists—lean to the left then lean to the right.

3. Michelle Obama Arms: Do push-ups either from your knees or your toes.

4. Donkey KicksPerform mountain-climbers: hands on the floor, body in push-up like position, bringing one knee in towards chest, switching legs quickly.

5. Get on Your Soapbox: Perform step-ups onto the “soapbox.” At home you can use a chair stabilized against a wall or a plyo box. Show your enthusiasm for your candidate and progress into jumping up onto the political platform (switching legs each time).

6. Elephant Walks: Bear crawl backwards and forwards.

7. Crossing Party Lines (Partner Game): Facing partner, complete a pushup, extend one arm and slap the hand of your partner’s extended (opposite) arm.

8. Stretching the truth: Final issue of the day? Flexibility. Cool down by marching in place and then do a few stretches.
