Gratitude, Goals and Balance: How to Maintain Your Weight Loss for Life

Writing down what you eat, how you feel and how hungry you are is a great way to stay on track when it comes to maintaining your weight loss.

10 Ways How to Maintain Your Weight-Loss

4. Don’t reintroduce your trigger foods into your diet. You may think once the weight is gone you can have all those junky, crappy foods you haven’t had in a long time. Not true. They got you heavy for a reason.

5. If you can use the scale without going crazy, weigh in weekly to stay on track. Try to stay within a 5- to 10-pound range of your goal weight (your weight can fluctuate up to 5 pounds in a day, so give yourself some wiggle room). If you get too high, cut back or lighten up your meals or snacks. If you drop below, add in another snack, from a healthy source, of course.

6. Keep a food journal. It’s the easiest way to get an accurate picture of what is really going on in your diet.
