Erin’s Favorite Workout Outfit
Have a favorite workout outfit? So do we! That’s why each FBG is sharing her favorite exercise get-up for this Question of the Week!
I don’t know about you guys, but I loved seeing Jenn’s favorite workout outfit last week. My apologies for not having pretty photos like Jenn, I was dealing with this as I tried to take a favorite-workout-outfit selfie:
The above picture kinda makes it look like I have a thigh gap. I do not have a thigh gap. There is nothing wrong with natural thigh gaps, but there will never be one on my bod, trust.
On the upper body, I’ve got my favorite tank, the Lolë Silhouette Up Tank in the brightest red. Then the sports bra is a C9 by Champion cami bra from Target. I love the pop of contrasting color. The bra doesn’t offer a ton of support, but then, I don’t need a ton of support.
Next, my standard lower-body coverage is these Nike DriFit capris. Honestly, 90 percent of the time, I’m wearing some version of a black pant when I work out, but I do prefer either knee-length or capri for the same reason I prefer tanks: I feel claustrophobic with too much coverage.
Now, underwear is important, and shame on Jenn for not sharing her skivvies — or wait, she must not be wearing any. But I’ll tell you that if I’m really on my laundry game, these these Dear Kate underwear are what I’m wearing under my standard black pants. They’re super soft, super comfy, they don’t ride up, and they are made to battle perspiration. Panty perfection. (I hate the word panties; alliteration is the ONLY reason panty was used there. It’ll never happen again.)
These are the shoes I’m rocking lately. They may not match my red top, but these Reebok SubLite training shoes are my current workout besties. I heart them and their graffiti power words.
And as for the socks that go in my sneaks? Jenn was right about those C9 by Champion socks from Target. They are my go-to sock as well. They are soft and thick, but not too thick, and I pout when I don’t have any clean. I think I shall toss a few old pairs and buy a pack next time I’m at Target to increase my odds of wearing them more often.
So there you have it: me and my not-totally-matching favorite workout outfit. Do you have any items you can’t live without? —Erin
