Color Me Beautiful: How to Find What Colors You Look Best in
Beauty Is An Attitude
The most beautiful people I know have one common trait. To be sure, this handsome lot comes in all shapes and sizes; theirs is not a perfectly proportioned semblance of body parts. Jane, for example, (the names have been changed to protect the beautiful) has thick ankles that fail to aesthetically please in a pair of strappy sandals, and Sue must carefully adorn her broad shoulders to avoid looking like a forward tackle. Yet both of them have the ability to flounce into a room and turn every head, men and women alike.
Their poise and assurance comes from the inside. They know they are more than a number on a scale or a size stamped on the back of a pair of jeans. Their confidence comes from the pride they accrue when they hit a goal, confront a fear or do a good deed.
These people don’t waste time kvetching about imperfect body parts. They use fashion to enhance their appearance and camouflage those bits they don’t like. In short, they’ve figured out what not to wear.
I’m Sexy and I Know It
Like it or not, the human brain is hardwired to critically assess a first encounter in a measly seven seconds. The impression you leave has less to do with the size of your booty and more with your demeanor or body language.
If you are uncomfortable in ill-fitting clothes or feel less than stellar in your ensemble, it will show. However, if you are certain you are rocking that pencil skirt, you’ll have a smile on your face and an undeniable bounce in your step.
Ego aside, when you look your best, you know it.
