We are so pumped to have a new site that makes browsing through our past and current content easier. As you might notice, we have a navigation bar now so that you can find exactly what you are most interested in right away. Love healthy eats? Check out the Nosh menu. Obsessed with workout DVDs? Check out the DVD Reviews tab. Need new tunes? Check out the Music button. Content at your fingertips!
We also have a section above that gives you guys more info on us, just in case you’ve ever wondered who the FBGs are. On the About Us page, you’ll find each of our bios, the tale of how FBG came to be and a fun downloadable badge that declares you as a Fit Bottomed Girl. Oh, and don’t miss the Shop page that will direct you to our fave products and the FBG Wear store. (And if you’re a potential advertiser, please check out our advertising page.)
In the middle of the site, below our lead story, you’ll see the latest fitness-related news, blurbs to our most recent fitness and nutrition posts, and the posts that we personally love and recommend that you check out. In conjunction with the redesign, we’re also slightly modifying our posting schedule so that you guys will be getting one longer, more in-depth post in the morning and then a new fun FitBit in the afternoon. Hopefully this satiates your appetite for all things FBG.
In addition to the new digs and navigation, you might notice some new things on the right side of the site, including how to hook up with us on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and PeerTrainer, our most popular posts, random posts (always fun to click on!) and the new home of our reader polls. Be sure to express yourself there often.
To help kick-off the new site, we’ll also be announcing a huge give-back event later this week that will feature a FitStars Q&A with one awesome woman. We promise you’ll be inspired, so stay tuned!
