What to Sip on This Labor Day: Green White Tea Sangria

Green tea sangria is festive and healthy. Score!

This Labor Day weekend, why not celebrate the holiday with a delicious—and healthy—sangria that mixes fruit and green tea for a refreshing drink? Serve it at your Labor Day barbecue or make a pitcher up for you and your gal pals tonight. And, hey, the recipe doesn’t call for any wine, but we totally think you could spike this with a little Grand Marnier or white wine…

Chilled Green White Tea Sangria Recipe

4 c Teas’ Tea Green White Tea
2 c all-natural white grape juice
2 c ice
1 blood orange
1/3 c thinly sliced apple
1/3 c thinly sliced orange
1/3 c thinly sliced strawberries

1. In a glass pitcher, combine the green white tea with the white grape juice and ice.

2. Squeeze the juice out of the orange, and combine with the tea and juice in the pitcher. Stir in the green apple, orange and strawberries.

3. Serve in tall, chilled glasses.

A big thanks to Teas’ Tea for the recipe! We’ll be sipping on this tonight! Now where’s that bottle of Chardonnay we had… —Jenn
