3 Exercises to Add Fit Festivity to Your Holiday Preparations

HolidayExercisesThe holidays are always a busy time of year. With family to see, cookies to bake and gifts to wrap, finding time to fit in that workout can seem like a challenge. But hold your horses! There’s no need to put off your sweat sessions just because you’re busy. In fact, South Florida Boxing has put together a few moves you can do in the comfort of your own toasty kitchen. While you’re cooking, no less! As you can see in the photos, you’re also welcome to do them in the grocery store, but you may get a strange look when you do the turkey squats…

Three Festive Exercises for the Holidays

1. Turkey squat and press. The bigger the bird, the better! These squats work your thighs, quads and hamstrings, making them an exercise that’s Turkey Tom-terrific. And the turkey press? Well, that’s just bonus shoulder work.

How to do the move: Hold the turkey and squat. When you stand up, push the turkey away from your chest. Be sure to keep your knees and toes pointing slightly outward while sticking your bum behind you.
