7 Quick Pilates Moves for an Anywhere Workout

Single Straight Leg Stretch (Scissors)

Both legs are reaching long, and your tailbone stays down on the mat.

Setup: Extend both legs up to the ceiling and both hands hold your right ankle (you can hold your calf or thigh to modify).

Execution: Curl the head and neck up. Lower the left leg till it hovers above the mat while pulling the right leg toward you and pulsing it twice. Switch your legs pulling your left leg towards you twice and lowering your right leg, always keeping your head and neck up.

Reps: Repeat 10 times each leg.
