4. Les Mills Grit Series. Les Mills Grit Series is a challenging workout that requires your top effort broken up by periods of recovery. Each Grit Series workout starts with an accelerated warm-up that will kick-start the heart rate and awaken the neuromuscular system. In other words—a kick-butt workout that will leave you exhausted and yet energized. Best of all though? It is QUICK at just 30 minutes in length.

What to expect: This is a fast-paced workout done in a minimum amount of time, so I say expect to feel as if you worked very hard and got in an overall toning and cardio effort for the short amount of time you need to make available.

What you’ll need: Bring your regular workout gear and your best intentions to work as hard as you can for 30 minutes.

Where to find it: The best news—there are Les Mills classes all over the U.S., and you can see if there are any offered near your home town by checking out its website.
