The other day when I went through my boyfriend’s T-shirt drawer, I found one thing quite odd—he had five of the same shirts but in five different colors! At first, I couldn’t help but think this guy could really use some good fashion advice, but I slowly realized that he might be on to something: If you like something, why change it? Well, I guess he was correct about one thing because after experiencing 10 Pounds Down Cardio Abs, Jessica Smith’s Better Body Blast was right up my alley, too.
Better Body Blast, which was voted “Best Total Body Time Saver Workout” by Fitness magazine for 2012, hits the Fit Bottomed trifecta. In three fat-burning workouts, this workout DVD burns fat and builds lean strong muscle everywhere that you want them! Each 20-minute workout is upbeat and quick, helping each exerciser hit three of their favorite beach-strutting muscle groups: arms, legs and abdominals. Although each workout incorporates the whole body, each session emphasizes one body part. You’ll need a mat and a pair of 5-pound dumbbells to really get a burn from these workout segments.
Legs: Oooh, my favorite body part! I can’t say that lunges and squats necessarily get me as excited as a nice large scoop of protein ice cream, but Jessica’s lunge combination and cardio intervals definitely had me burning. Word of caution though: be sure to take things slowly if you have bad knees.
Abs: I can’t begin to explain how important this muscle group is; it’s a support for the rest of your body! This segment encourages the development of strong and lean abdominals and incorporates cardio drills to blast fat.
